“Genuine fellowship helps us move from just sharing coffee and cookies to being a safe community where we can be transparent with one another.” — Steve Gladen

The goals of Household of Faith MAP fellowship groups are to create a community where members are equipped and challenged to grow spiritually and in all areas of their lives. It’s a community where members are held accountable to each other through the infallible word of God, our core values, beliefs and culture as church.

The MAP fellowship is divided by age groups to increase fellowship however multiple groups are encouraged to plan activities together and learn from each other. Each fellowship is required to meet to each month to study the word of God, have a night out, cook out, Mother’s night out, Daddy’s night out as long as it done in an orderly and Godly manner to unveil the love of God – 1 Corinthians 13:1-13.

We have fellowship groups for singles, married couples, single mothers (not categorized by divorce but by the fact that one parent works/lives out of state), grandparents and OASIS (Older Adults Still in Service).

Unpretentious fellowship is the adhesive that keeps us in relationship with one another. In Ephesians 2:19 it explains how we are members of God’s family. It states that, “You are no longer foreigners or outsiders, but citizens together with God’s people and members of God’s family.” Godly fellowship enables us to experience true family.

When special circumstances require help beyond Home Groups and Recovery Groups, the primary places that we work out care and counseling, we partner with professional biblical counselors in meeting the emotional and spiritual needs of the church. These God-centered, gospel-saturated ministries offer biblical counseling for those seeking healing, freedom and wisdom in all areas of our daily lives.

At Household of Faith, we believe that marriage was created by God for the display of his glory and for the joy of his creatures. Through this gift, we are called to consider not only God’s conventional love but also His incredible patience and unconditional mercy toward His beloved. Because this takes effort and intentionality, we strongly encourage engaged couples to supplement their marriage preparation through formal premarital counseling.

Register below at least six months before your wedding date.
We will assign you a marriage mentor couple. We ask that couples meet with their marriage mentors at least six times. If you are unable to meet with a marriage mentor couple, then we encourage you to meet with a biblical counselor for at least six sessions.

Household of Faith is excited to serve you during your process of marriage and wedding planning. We offer many resources to help you plan and execute your rehearsal and wedding.

Holidays and Weddings
Weddings and rehearsals may not be scheduled on Easter weekend, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving weekend, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, the day and week following Christmas, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

1. Complete the scheduling form to indicate the day you want to have your wedding. You cannot schedule a wedding more than 1 year ahead of time and no less than 5 months from your desired date. Our wedding coordinator will contact you to confirm availability. Confirmation does not guarantee the date for your wedding. The date will only be held when we receive the wedding application and $500 deposit.

2. Once we confirm your desired date, complete the Wedding Application. You will then receive an email confirming that we received your application and booked your date. Then the Office Administrator will be in contact with you via phone and or email to discuss the church policies.

As a couple, you must agree to attend pre-marriage counseling as set forth by the officiating pastor. An appointment with the desired pastor needs to be made to request his services and arrange a mutually agreeable date. Do not establish a firm wedding date without consulting the officiating pastor. Part of the counseling process with the officiating pastor will involve choosing the order of service, the vows, ring ceremony, etc… Additional pre-marriage counseling or suggested readings may be required by the pastor. These will vary depending on who is performing the ceremony.

3. One month prior to your wedding, the Office Administrator will meet with you to discuss final details, including ceremony specifics, decorations, production needs.
